The Musk Foundation intends to apply for accreditation from the Georgia-based Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to establish Elon Musk University, per a Forbes story.

Elon Musk has yet to discloseany information regarding the college or university. Elon Musk University wants to hire “faculty with experience.” Students will be chosen based onmerit.

The program will be “focused on teaching in STEM subjects,” with an initial enrollment of roughly 50 students, according to the filing that Bloomberg released online.
