Families Of Israeli Child Hostages Urge Hamas To Release Them

During a demonstration outside the UN Children’s Fund building in Tel Aviv, Israel, on November 20, World Children’s Day, the families of Israeli children who are being held captive in the Gaza Strip by Hamas militants begged for the world to demand their release.

About forty infants and children were reportedly being kept captive in the Gaza Strip by Hamas members, according to the Israeli Association for Early Childhood. In celebration of World Children’s Day on Monday, the association also unveiled a video ad.

On World Children’s Day, several hundred people participated in a sizable protest. Six weeks had passed since Hamas militants struck Israel, murdering around 1,200 people and kidnapping about 240 more, including women and infants. At that time, there had been a demonstration.

It is said that minors make among at least 35 of the hostages that Hamas members have captured. A baby was also born in captivity during the battle between Hamas and Israel.

On World Children’s Day, there were massive demonstrations in Israel. At the building that houses the UN children’s agency UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund), protesters carried Israeli flags, kid-themed photos, and plush toys.
