Delhi Children Are Breathing Poison As Toxic Smog Engulfs City

 

The worst affected by air pollution are children in Delhi, an Indian city. Delhi consistently ranks among the world’s most polluted large cities, and the harmful haze is having an adverse effect on youngsters. As the city is enveloped in “pollution season,” nobody in Delhi appears to be taking accountability.

Children in Delhi are not breathing air, but poison. On a hospital bed, children can be seen sobbing while wearing nebulizer masks. Babies as young as one month old are suffering as well since the inhabitants must breathe in hazardous air.

Ayansh Tiwari, a baby of one month, has been afflicted with a hacking cough. medical declining health has been attributed by medical doctors to the poisonous air. Delhi’s pollution levels have stayed in the “severe” range for more than a week.

The poor quality of the air is causing a large number of children at Delhi’s Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya hospital to have breathing difficulties. In addition, a large number of kids have pneumonia and asthma, which requires them to wear nebulizer masks to breathe.

Poor air quality and toxic pollution are yearly occurrences for Delhi’s 33 million inhabitants. Because of air pollution, the number of cases of pneumonia and asthma increases every winter.
